Cookies
The short version: this site sets no cookies of its own, so there is no banner to dismiss.
Draft. Accurate as the site stands today. If anything is added later that does set a cookie - an embedded map, a video, a chat widget, or analytics of the ordinary kind - this page has to change and a consent banner has to appear with it.
What we set
Nothing. There is no advertising, no social embed and no chat widget on this site, and nothing here stores anything on your device, so there is no cookie to consent to and no banner asking you to.
How we count visitors
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, creates no identifier for you, and cannot follow you to any other site. What we get is totals - pages, countries, how quickly the site loaded - and never a trail belonging to one person.
This is the reason you are not being asked to agree to anything. Consent is required for storing or reading something on your device, and this stores nothing. We chose it over Google Analytics deliberately: Google Analytics would set cookies, would need a banner, and would send what you did here to a company that makes its money from advertising.
The map on our Contact page
There is a Google map on our Contact page, and it does not load until you press the button to load it. Until you do, nothing about your visit is sent to Google and no Google cookie is set. That is the whole reason it works that way round.
If you do press it, the map is Google's and from that point Google can set its own cookies and see that you loaded it, under its own privacy policy rather than ours. The button says so before you press it, and there is a plain link to Google Maps next to it if you would rather go there directly.
What our host may set
The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell genuine visitors from automated attacks. It carries no identifying information and is not used to track you between sites. Under Maltese and EU law a strictly necessary cookie does not require consent.
If you follow a link away from here
Links to Wolt, Google Maps or anywhere else take you to somebody else's site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those.
Blocking cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
